We are excited to announce that our headline band for AYF 2012 will be the amazing Cajun band, L’Angelus! Actually, we don’t care if you can pronounce it (“Lawn-Jay-Loose”), but you’ll want to brush up on your Cajun dance moves, because the dinner concert will be a rip-roarin’ blast of Louisiana fun. From foot-stompin grooves and Cajun charm to witty humor and floating sacred hymns, this band is truly unique. They wowed everyone in Madrid this past summer on the main stage at World Youth Day, as part of a 6-week Europe tour which left crowds scrambling to figure out how to spell “L”Angelus” so they could key it into iTunes to get more of their music! Hailing from the Lafayette area and now shaking things up in the Nashville music scene, this band is truly a “must see-must hear” powerhouse of great music!
